The Creative Writing classes have an enthusiastic following from schools, private individuals and creative writing groups. Our professional adjudicators provide positive and constructive feedback to our participants.

 

Entries are submitted in January and assessed by the adjudicator in advance of the Creative Writing Day which is held in March. All entrants are invited to attend and present their work, with the adjudicator then commenting and making the awards; competitors do not need to attend to win a trophy. Many of the winning entries are published on the festival website.

 

We aim to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where our writers can share their own work and support the creativity of others.
