We hope to run the majority of Musical Theatre classes as normal but in an ever fluid climate it may be necessary to restrict the number of entries or limit audience numbers.
We will be accepting entries in the order they are completed from December 2021. Entries will deem to be completed on receipt of fee. Entries will close on 19th Jan but should we reach capacity in any class before that date we will post an update, so please watch this page.
Depending on any remaining restrictions at the time selected classes may be offered online. This is likely to include Group classes
We hope whether it is Live or Virtual to continue to keep the spirit of Festival buoyant and provide a positive experience for all entrants

The Festival acknowledges the current interest in Musical Theatre In 2011 we introduced a whole new range of classes allowing performers to showcase their talents across the three disciplines of Drama, Song and Dance. Now in our 9th year the section is going from strength to strength.
We hope that by providing a Festival platform for individuals and groups to have their work professionally adjudicated that we are addressing the increasing expectation of Examination Boards and Drama schools for all-round performers.
Equally, for those concerned with performance solely as a leisure activity, it is always useful to have some constructive advice on how to build and improve their skills.
Because we think that the performance itself is the most important aspect of any presentation we strongly recommend that entrants use only the minimum of props and a suggestion of costume.
